Leighton, 76, of 171 South Red Bank, died last Thursday at the home of his niece, Miss Clara Layton, 10 Center Oceanport, after a month's iNness. Mr. Leighton was born in Colt's Neck, son of the late John R. and Jane Stryker Layton and had been' a resident of Red Bank 40 years. He was employed for 43 years by the Jersey Central Power Light company at Long Branch, retiring eight years ago.

Ostendorff attended Cotumbla university and graduated from the New York College of Music, where he won bronze medal. He taught for 20 years in the Carnegie Hall studios and made his debut in 1925 at Carnegie Hall under Albert Jonas. He studied composition with Reuben Goldmark. Mr. Ostendorff was veteran of World War during which he served with the 217 Engineers.

TREATED AT RIVERVIEW FAIR HAVEN-Mrs. Mary Georgianna Allen, 53, of 137 Lake died Friday afternoon at Riverview hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Harold S. Allen, owner of Allen's electric shop on White st. Mrs.
Allen was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward ada, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Curly Collins. She had been a resident of this place six years, moving here from New York city. Mrs. Allen was. member of the Catholic Church of the Nativity here.
Surviving besides her husband, are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Charles Wilson, Red Bank; two stepsons, John L. Allen, Red Bank, and Robert S. Allen, Wantagh, L. two sisters, Mrs.
Thomas McCabe and Mrs. Joseph Costello, Charlottetown, Canada, and a brother, William Collins, Newton Center, Mass. A solemn high requiem mass was offered Tuesday at the Church of the Nativity by Rev. Donald E. Hickey, pastor.
Father Hickey was assisted by Rev. Joseph A. Bischoff, curate of St. James church, Red Bank, as deacon, and Harold R. Petrie, curate of Holy Cross church, Rumson, sub-deacon.

JOSEPHINE GOETSCHIUS WEST KEANSBURG-Mrs. Josephine Goetschius, 83, died Sunday at her home, 111 Tenth st. Mrs. Goetschius was born in New York city. A resident of this place ten years, she was a member of St.
Mark's Episcopal church, Keansburg. Surviving are a nephew, Sidney J. Herzog, with whom she made her home; four other nephews and niece. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at her late home, and at 10:30 requiem mass will be offered at St. Mark's church.
